An Enigma: Demised North korean "DEAR" Leader Kim Jong IL

Kim Jong-il, the North Korean dictator(as rest of the word call him), who died on Saturday aged 69, presided over the systematic impoverishment and starvation of millions of his people, while enjoying the life of a spoiled playboy – fast cars, fast women, cellars of vintage French wines, and a passion for Rambo and Daffy Duck videos. Although he is usually greeted as 'Dear Leader' in his country.

Nobody knows the truth even after his death(as per some news,he is not dead) as North Korea is an elusive nation and outside media is  almost unable to penetrate inside news.North Korea and Kim Jong il was and still surrounded by speculations.Everything about him like his love for movies and french wines are came to be known from his chefs and certain people from outside world who may have traveled with him in his luxurious train,it is said that he abhors air travel,he is phobic to airplane travel.China & Russia was the only nation known to media he traveled outside his nation.

Kim Jong il was in category of legends as people can just make speculations and approximations about him. There are many tales about his likes, dislikes and his uncanny demeanor.Dictators around the world from recently demised Qaddafi to Hitler, comprises of eccentric tales. Its all about mystery which makes them more prone to irrational speculations.Elusive leaders and dictators around the world are escalated to pinnacle of myths.

Kim Jong Il inherited power after his father, revered North Korean founder Kim Il Sung, died in 1994. In September 2010, Kim Jong Il unveiled his third son, the twenty-something Kim Jong Un, as his successor, putting him in high-ranking posts.Kim Jong Il inherited power after his father, revered North Korean founder Kim Il Sung, died in 1994. In September 2010, Kim Jong Il unveiled his third son, the twenty-something Kim Jong Un, as his successor, putting him in high-ranking posts.

Certain legends and tales surrounding him-

Reputed to have had a taste for cigars, cognac and gourmet cuisine — was believed to have had diabetes and heart disease.

Kim Jong Il had been groomed for 20 years to lead the communist nation founded by his guerrilla fighter-turned-politician father and built according to the principle of "juche," or self-reliance.

Even with a successor, there had been some fear among North Korean observers of a behind-the-scenes power struggle or nuclear instability upon the elder Kim's death.

Few firm facts are available when it comes to North Korea, one of the most isolated countries in the world, and not much is clear about the man known as the "Dear Leader."

North Korean legend has it that Kim was born on Mount Paekdu, one of Korea's most cherished sites, in 1942, a birth heralded in the heavens by a pair of rainbows and a brilliant new star.

Soviet records, however, indicate he was born in Siberia, in 1941.

Kim Jong Il, a graduate of Pyongyang's Kim Il Sung University, was 33 when his father anointed him his eventual successor.

Even before he took over as leader, there were signs the younger Kim would maintain — and perhaps exceed — his father's hard-line stance.

South Korea has accused Kim of masterminding a 1983 bombing that killed 17 South Korean officials visiting Burma, now known as Myanmar. In 1987, the bombing of a Korean Air Flight killed all 115 people on board; a North Korean agent who confessed to planting the device said Kim ordered the downing of the plane himself.

Kim Jong Il took over after his father died in 1994, eventually taking the posts of chairman of the National Defense Commission, commander of the Korean People's Army and head of the ruling Worker's Party while his father remained as North Korea's "eternal president."
Kim Jong il

He faithfully carried out his father's policy of "military first," devoting much of the country's scarce resources to its troops — even as his people suffered from a prolonged famine — and built the world's fifth-largest military.

Kim also sought to build up the country's nuclear arms arsenal, which culminated in North Korea's first nuclear test explosion, an underground blast conducted in October 2006.

There are many more tales about him,but its hard to know, where reality ends & fantasy begins.

Haiku: One of the most expressive and restricted form of poetic expression

"What is HAIKU?" In simple words, Haiku is an iconic and most famous poetic form of Japan, (Its also quite popular across the world, nowadays) which conveys a vivid image or a poetic moment within 5-7-5 syllables.powerful ancient Japanese style of poetry, which is adored by millions of modern readers and writers. In nutshell haiku is:A Japanese poem of seventeen syllables, in three lines of five, seven, and five, traditionally evoking images of the natural world.(Its the first information you get on Google search when you type: What is haiku?) Its powerful art and bit restricted in sense of words but let you define even the contrasting elements with clarity. The below poem by master of haiku-Kobayashi Issa expresses an almost brutal comic contrast and describes a poetic moment so vividly that one could almost see it through Issa’s eyes even after centuries have passed. Pondering of Batman

Batman perched himself on one of the gargoyle on an old museum building. The night was dark befitting the dark knight.  To his amazement the night was of no crime and no bat-light signal in the sky. It seemed that Gotham at last is at peace. Silhouette of Arkham Asylum was visible and for no reason it made Batman shudder and he felt that Arkham is living and breathing malevolent creature. As an vigilante, Batman met many good / evil heroes  and evil/good villains. His long list of foes includes the psychopaths of extreme degree: Poison ivy, Joker, Penguin, Riddler, bane et al. It rarely happens that our caped-crusader, ponders about life and philosophy. But today was a different night or to say night of all the nights. Batman on Gargoyle  His thought moved around from one instance to other in just a fraction of second, each thought overlapping the other. He was muddled into confusion just by sheer intensity and rapidness of his thoughts. Gotham cit

The Misadventures Of Death

I'm trusted sidekick of Death. This is my viewpoint about Death as a person. I'm associated with Death since aeons ago, even when the concept of time was not initiated and the cosmos was not yet created. Me and Death with few other more powerful beings existed before the primordial time (It's an oxymoron that I'm using Primordial, and time together. You need to understand, I'm into existence since long long time ago, hence those words lost the charm and intensity for me.) Amongst all the life in the whole universe, humans of the Earth are my most favourite creatures. You the human race (as what you call yourselves) is intriguing and sometimes even enigmatic to my boss- The Death. As stated by me earlier I'm keenly fond of humans, so naturally, I acquainted myself with the way of humans. To make analogy easy for you, let me put it this way-- I'm Dr Watson to the Sherlock Holmes(Death). Like Watson use to write about the cases of Holmes, I'm writing
